I need to clear the Qmanager Log /var/mqm/log/QmanagerName/active/

				If you are referring to Linear Log cleanup then go get and use SupportPac MS62 or MS0L (you only need 1).

				Depending on your platform you may not even need the service pac. On AIX (and maybe unix) you can copy null over the log.  The queue manager needs to be down.  You will lose backup of your persistent messages if you clear the log in any manner.  You should most likely archive it off instead.  (Are you looking for disk space?  You might just want/have to enlarge your partition if you have the space.) _________________ Patrick Goodhart

				If space is your constraint to clear the log, then first archive the logs of individual QM then null the logs in active dir. There are scripts available in IBM that can be put in crontab for automatic.
