In that directory(/opt/mqm/READMES/en_US) i have only a readme file. there is no memo.ptf file.
one question
if memo.ptf file is not there in that directory means that no CSD is applied for MQSeries V 5.0 ?

On HP-UX there is the additonal command dspmqver which gives slightly different information than mqver. Its output is closer to the Sun output from mqver.
Wonder why they give two commands that are so similar? |

I see it in MQ 5.3
But I think it is no different from mqver |

It showed up in 5.3; I don't find it on my 5.2 HP-UX systems.
Just for comparison, here is the output from mqver on 5.2:

can anybody tell , how to find which CSD level is applied for MQSeries version 5.0
is there any command or any way to find

MQSERIES B.10.500.00 MQSeries for HP-UX
Is 5.0 base.
If swlist isn't showing anything else you may not have any CSDs installed.
I'm not sure if it was mentioned but mqver is fairly new. It's not in 5.1 or prior, maybe not in some CSDs of 5.2.
