This looks like you are getting data back that has nulls embedded within acceptable xml characters - I found two nulls following X'c1d7d7d3' (APPL).

This cannot be resolved by any settings within the MRM. You have two choices have the sender of the MRM(CWF) change what they send or use something similar to the esql posted earlier which replaces the invalid characters. Note that you may have more than just embedded nulls x'00' that you'll have to contend with.

Yeah I was hoping I could force SI to treat it like a null terminated string and just ignore everything after the first null character.

I have put code in my ESQL to loop around and find first null char to handle it for now.
