Hi All
I am trying to install CSD 06 for WMQI 2.1, but for some reason, it is not allowing me to do so , it says there is an incompatible version that is already existing on the system and needs to be uninstalled before continuing with the current installation.
I earlier had installed CSD 02 for WMQI 2.1, do i have to uninstall this or is it some other problem.
Also FYI, i am using DB2 8.1 with its CSD 02
can anyone tell me, where the problem might be??

| If you have CSD2 currently installed.you need to install CSD's 3,4,5 before installing 6.Its Cummulative. |

No, you don't need to install CSD 3,4,5 before installing CSD6.
CSD6 will have all fixes included in all previous CSD's.
munna,
What is the WMQI s/w you are using, there is WMQI Broker (without NEON) and WMQI (with NEON). Make sure you download the CSD for correct product.

Kiran, I have WMQI without NEON, how do i find out which one is the appropriate CSD for me, i tried reading in the memo.ptf(the text file was provided on the same page as the CSD), but i dint see any mention about the NEON's.
This is the CSD06 i have, U200207.
I have also seen another CSD 06 with the name U200206.

Then you have downloaded the incorrect CSD.
If your Broker is on Windows platform then you should download U200206 from this url,
http://www-306.ibm.com/software/integration/mqfamily/support/summary/mqsib.html
200207 is for WMQI 2.1 with NEON.

Hi there,
I have downloaded CSD06(U200206 ) for windows and i am getting the same error as munna when i try to install the csd. I am running wmqi 2.1(without neon) and wmq 5.3.
What could the problem be in this case.

If it is telling you that an incompatible version is installed, then you downloaded the wrong CSD for your installation.
