Sounds great.
What was the problem and which instructions did you follow?
Did you uninstall it and try to install again?
After it works you should configure your perspective on the eclipse
1. Add Git Toolbar - Window -> Customize Perspective and add the Git toolbar
2. Add Git view - Window -> Show Views -> other -> add Git Views |

I followed the instruction provide by you arman and it worked fine, I had installed Jgit, so it was not allowing me to install egit
I uninstalled jgit and installed egit and it worked fine, now I have the repository created in my toolkit
