				Hello MQ Guru,

We are installating MQ 7.1.X.X on Red Hat LINUX Server. We have WAS8 at other end.

Can anyone please share me, do i need seperate installation of IBM Java JDK/JRE on MQ installation or it comes with MQ package and i don't need seperate installation ?

I been through infocenter for the system/software requirement section for MQ 7.1 but could not confirm.

Please advise.

Thank you. _________________ ----------------------------------------

List the packages, what do you see? _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |

You misread that. What it says is that your JRE /JDK needs to be at a minimum of V 1.5 to be able to connect to WMQ V 7.x (Verify in the infocenter I thought that was 1.4...)

To be more specific: if you attempt to connect to WMQ with a client / server program running on a JDK/JRE 1.3 it will fail! _________________ MQ & Broker admin |
