Does anyone know if a MQ Sender channel in a QM from version 5.2 and 5.3 connects to/and works with a MQ Receiver channel in a QM version 7.0?
I Know that version 5.2 and 5.3 are out of support since a long time ago (at least for x86 systems).
I Know this is not supported by IBM, I´m just asking if someone has tried it before successfully.
I cannot test it myself since I don´t have the media to install MQ 5.2 and 5.3. If the media is available out there please let me know. It is not available in partnerworld.

I know WMQv5.3 connects to WMQv7.

The WMQ v7.0 general announcement letter (April 2008) contains this little gem:
