				Hi everyone,

I need some help on the following.

1) Tivoli event High_CPU_Utilization was fired on production server for the process bipconfigmgr 120%.

2) and also I'm getting one more warning from Tivoli, UNIX_Process_Memory_warning for Dataflowengine process for one of the executiongroup in a Broker.

can anyone help, How to solve this problem, and what might be the reason and where can I find the logs the reason why it has fired as i need to give the explanation.

Thanks in advance for your help. |

What version of broker are you running. You might need to make sure your fix packs are up-to-date.

If the high cpu is causing you a problem, one way round it in prod is to only start up the config manager when you need to do deployments and then stop it again afterwards. _________________ Never let the facts get in the way of a good theory. |

				here is the version,

BIP8996I: Version: 6102

BIP8997I: Product: WebSphere Message Brokers

BIP8998I: CMVC Level: S610-FP02 DH610-FP02

BIP8999I: Build Type: Production

Do I need to update fixpack for this? am i getting it for this reason?

I did the trace for configmgr, but couldn't find the reason.

Can't say for sure, but I have seen excessively high config mgr cpu usage when using back level broker software. _________________ Never let the facts get in the way of a good theory. |

Version 6102 says it all. Check out the forum / and /or open a PMR. The config mgr can do excess work depending on some settings...

You'll never see high CPU for bipconfigmgr on v7, that's for sure. |

Of course, there is no more configmgr @ V7 _________________ MQ & Broker admin |
