				Hi, MQ Expert

I am working in airline industry, the airline industry is still using

telex as their communication medium among various applications.

I have such requirement, one of my vendor is using XML to talks

with our existing systems, yet the existing system is using telex

 as its message type.

 Problem -

If the vendor provide me the XLST, can I use that XLST to translate

to telex format or vice versa.

The format of the telex as following:

Crew Control System - Telex for Load Control System

20100303 20100303 CX037 HKG DXB

CN O WALKER PR

FO O HALL RH

CN JOHNSON C

FO BEST NCDR

JS JIMMY CHAN

JS KM CHAN

NO MR GROOM

NO LISA LAI

the telex template as following :

Telex title

Flt Date / Dep Date / Flt no / Sector

Crew Catg / Operating or Positioning / Crew ID or passenger name

				| XSLT always has to have an XML message as input. You can't use XSLT to transform non-XML data into XML. |

mqjeff is correct - I missed the 'and vice-versa' in your original post.

I recommend that you create a message set with a TDS physical format. Use XMLNSC for the XML parsing and writing, and MRM TDS for the non-XML parsing and writing. |
