Firstly, you are way behind the drag curve on maintenance - V6.0 is now at 6.0.2.8 - so it's in your best interests to address that issue asap.

Secondly, punching the Probe Id into Mr. Google would have got you THIS. _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |

I think that's a clue...

If this is a fresh copy of WMQ do any queue managers work on it? Or is this the first one you've tried post-WMQv6 install? _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

It's in the manual. Try punching strmqm into the Info Centre, and as you're on Windoze look at amqmdain also. _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |

It's not model queues that need attention, it is the installation of MQ.

There are two reasons to think the installation is bad

- you can't create/start the first qmgr on the box

- you can't install a fix pack

If reinstalling doesn't fix this (and yes it is important to get the latest fix pack and stay away from 5-year-old code) then call IBM for support. |
