It's not helping, and is a potential reason why the existing queue managers can't create any objects. Told you the crtmqm not working would be an additional clue.....
You'd hope for a resource shortage error rather than a 2059 or an FDC but it's an imperfect world.
In any event, if you're that short on disc space the queue managers are not going to be usable for long even if you do find an additional problem and get them started. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

Which is why there's a sysadmin job title; and why we get paid big bucks. _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.

Maybe either a load of temporary files were cleared out, or queue files reduced down in size maybe? Or it's just Vitor's most favourite OS doing what it does? (I'm guessing on that) _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |

From the posted FDC:

Product Long Name :- WebSphere MQ for AIX | |
I'd speak to the box admins about changes to the disc, and temp file management. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
