A totally separate issue to the one originally posted.

Anyway.....

Have you added a resource reference to the servlet?

Is this resource reference correctly mapped to the JNDI name of the resource you created in the Weblogic server?

On WAS there is a command to dump the JNDI environment, I dont know if there is something similar on Weblogic but it may help....
