I would guess the same as required for application development:
SunWorkShop compiler C, V4.2
SunWorkShop compiler C++, V4.2
BTW. That's from a v5.2 manual.

Switch file can be compiled ONLY with a C compiler NOT a C++ compiler.

Can you please give me the link or name to the manual which states that I need 4.2 . I am trying to put in my requirements specification. I have already read the planning guide but I was not able to find it .
