This error will not go away by using a different tool.
Looks like you are using a self signed certificate and did add it to the wrong store.
Add a self signed certificate to the truststore. Add a ca-authority's certificate to the truststore.
Add a ca-signed certificate to the certstore. (you should have the ca's certificate in your truststore.)

pretty reasonable, as you are using HTTPS, you have to specify the certs on broker side and client side.
