				Im trying to read a file from an ftp server and I wanted to know whether FileInput node throws error for the following scenario's:
 
1. when the user doesn't have acess to the specified server
 
2. Bad server |

because when i tried to test both of the scenario's I haven't seen any exception raised by FileInput node.
 
 
is there any fixpack provided by IMB in the similar way as it was for FileOutput node? |

				well i personally have never implemented file input node...
 
 
i got this from product documents :
 
MBFE_00003 Error accessing file transfer layer. Server is not available.

				If FTP server is not reachable or user doesnt hav access to server, MB will write the errors in the system log.
