When I created a client connection, it does not create a AMQCLCHL.TAB file.

I think( I have not used much so not sure for 100%), the file is created when the sytem is installed even without us creating any client coonnection, but it is not there and when I created a client connection, I was not created either.

I checked it under

c:\program files\ibm\mqseries\qmgrs\QMGR1\@ipcc direectory.

There is no any error on error log and no fdcs. Any clue?

The mqsc command completed successfully? you didn't do the runmqsc -v option, did you? _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.

In fact, I used MQexplorer in order to creat the channel. I just do usual method. The thing I wonder is why the channel table is not there. I recreated the queue manager but still the same.

No error in log and no FDCs.

Thanks |

				| Just to make sure MQ is writing to the said location search the regedit for "QMGR1" and check the prefix field. I don't see anything else going wrong. |

Are the CHLTAB and CHLLIB variables set? If so, take them out and try again. I've seen this happen where they were set and the *.TAB file deleted; it stopped the recreation of the file. _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |

No. However, I realised that there is some problem in my system. So, I am going to uninstall and install the MQ. I will see what happens after that and will post the result.

Thanks for suggestion |

Once I uninstall, remove all the directories and reinstalled the MQ and fp, when I created a queue manager, the channel table has been created.

Thanks you all your input |
