I am getting the following network error while connecting to sql server on windows from Linux server hosting the broker.

Hi
I think your WBIMB flow is trying to connect with the Oracle database
Please try it separately, and lets see, whether its getting connected or not
do a ping or telnet to the target machine and find out there are no issues or any firewall present or not

By SQL Server, do you mean SQL Server on Windows, or an Oracle database which seems to be what the flow is refering to?
Or am I reading this completely wrong??

You are using Oracle database....but you are using SQL Server Driver....wrong driver.
How did the firewall fix manage to fix this issue ?
