				Hi,

I am trying to install MQ6.0 on AIX 5.3. I uninstalled mq old version 5.3 and then installed the MQ6.0 and then 6.0.2.0. But I am able to see the dspmqver with only root where as not with mqm userid. It is giving some errors.

dspmqver

exec(): 0509-036 Cannot load program dspmqver because of the following errors:

0509-150 Dependent module /usr/lib/libmqmcs_r.a(shr.o) could not be loaded.

0509-103 The module has an invalid magic number.

Any ideas?

Thanks. |

				Hi

I think you dont have the mqm permission to execute the MQ control commands.

  Please verify it.

  Thanks and Regards

Have you got LIBPATH or LD_LIBRARY_PATH set? If so, try unsetting it and read the section in the Quick Beginnings manual entitled "Implications of a 64-bit queue manager" _________________ Philip Morten

				Hi,

What directories we will be checking the permissions?

/usr/mqm and /var/mqm and anything else?

what kind of permissions we should be giving? Please advise.

Thanks. |

I really don't think this is a permissions issue.

Have you explored the other advice given? The error sounds a lot more like an object library it didn't expect... _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
