It sounds like you have managed to severely damage your qmgr.

You should certainly open a PMR, and probably you'll need to delete and recreate the queue manager. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

I am experiencing the problem while starting the channel from Windows queue manager to Solaris queue manager.

the error n explaination is -

AMQ9556: Channel synchronization file missing or damaged.

EXPLANATION:

The channel synchronization file 'AMQRSYNA.DAT' is missing or does not

correspond to the stored channel information for queue manager

'TestQM'.

ACTION:

Rebuild the synchronization file using the rcrmqmobj command rcrmqmobj -t

syncfile (-m q-mgr-name)

The major prob is i dont know how to run "rcrmqmobj"

Now I could find the syntax for command.

But when I run this

 rcrmqobj -m TestQM -t syncfile

I got

AMQ7047: An unexpected error was encountered by a command.

EXPLANATION:

An internal error occurred during the processing of a command.

ACTION:

Follow problem determination procedures to identify the cause of the error. |

				hey sneh....

I think u have created the Q manager with circular logs..and becoz of this media recovery is not possible. Media recovery is possbile with linear logs.

I think i will answer ur query |

				Sneh,

we got same issue .

Pls share,If you were able to fix it.

we use circular logging ,In 6.0.2.2 we can re-create damaged objects ,after recreating syncfile ,channel runs but when ever persistent msgs sent across .chl again goes in retry with AMQ9556. _________________ thankx
