Hi,
I faced this problem before you could fix it as following
open Start → Programs → IBM WebSphere MQ → WebSphere MQ Explorer
Then create a new Queue Manager and set it as default
the re-run the default configuration wizard it will work
And you will find that another Queue Manager Created and setted as the default one
By the way i solved it on Microsoft windows and i am not sure if it will work for linux
