Ok, if you include msgflow/set source in a BAR file does it help in tracking the source code ? It just shows the source file names and date last modified.
Any experiences around this to share ?
Thanks. |

Hi,
When you include msgflows/sets source in a BAR file and deploy it on a broker, what happens to the source code ? I mean, does it go over to the broker box ? If so, where does it reside on the broker box ?
Can someone pls clarify.
Thanks. |

Why should the source code go to the broker ? It just remains there in the BAR file. When u deploy the BAR file , the cmf and the dictionary are executed.
If u face some problem and want to go through the source code and message sets, and if they have been included in the BAR file, all u need to do is to open the BAR file, with say winzip. Inside you would see the .msgflow,.esql and the message set files. Export these to separate directories. Create a message flow project and import the saved message flows into this. Create a message set project and import the message sets into this. This way u can recreate the message flows and message sets in ur machine.
