I have Checked the version of broker. It still shows the version as '7.0'.

When I was trying to create Mset with WSDL 1.2 it is crying foul...saying WSDL not valid.... But when I try to validate the WSDL with WSDL validators, WSDL is validated fine.....

Try declaring columnName in function declaration to be of 'NAME' type.
I had tried this to pass tableName, the way you are trying to pass columnName and it worked.
