Apparently qmgr ALIAS was not understood on qmgr broker2 or you did not send the right subscription message...
Try deleting the subscription and registering again...

Is ANY a cluster alias accessible from both brokers?
The remote queue definition is not clustered in non-prod or prod, but the subscriptions work in non-prod.

You can also use Nastel to authenticate your connections to MQ.
I would be pleased, but surprised, to learn that Nastel will act as a proxy authentication point for MQCONN.

Thanks for your Inputs
You can also use Nastel to restrict connections to MQ. However, you'll need the infrastructure to support it. ie a Nastel workgroup server, CEP server and Domain server.
