i've found out that in following directory
C:\Program Files\IBM\WebSphere MQ\PTF\en_us
by the way when you say that i need my mq to be patched
i am sure it does mean upgrading my mq with the ... |

my point out here is apart from the output of dspmqver there is one file named as memo.ptf which also shows some relevant info about the version ... |

it shows nothin that can worth even a little regarding the details of mqversion and fix packs

y you have to change length of messages every time you send them
once 50 MQ then 4 MB and then again 64 Kb
havent you asked for your application side about this before setting up your environmen ... |

go for checking /etc/services and /etc /inetd.conf file
listener might be configured via these files |

just go step by step
if you want to clear all the queues after mqsc commands saveqmgr is the only thing can be done before deleteing queumanager or even formatting the ... |
