I have got several Websphere MQ V7.0.1.7 production queue managers on a Linux Red Hat machine. RAM is 1GB and Swap is 2GB. Linux machine resides on VM Ware. Every 50-60 days I must restart Linux machine because it becomes unavailable. At last restart it was obvious that usage of RAM and specially Swap was increased. In fact the usage of Swap graudually increases every day. I don't know why. When there is no space in Swap, the Linux machine becomes unavailable. What to do to avoid restarts of Linux machine? |

Websphere MQ Explorer process uses the most of memory. Maybe I should close it and not to leave it open all the time for monitoring!? I will close it and monitor the RAM and Swap usage. |

You shouldn't leave MQExplorer open all the time on a production machine.
You shouldn't use MQExplorer on a production machine.
You shouldn't use MQExplorer for monitoring. |

Use latest fix pack. Buy more RAM. Several queue managers (how many, exactly?) do not fit in 1 GB of RAM, assuming you want to use them for some real work. |
