Hi,
We installed MQ v6 server on a Solaris box but in order to create a qmgr do we need to su to mqm ? or can we create / start the qmgr as root itself ?
Please suggest.

u can start / stop so any mq tasks wd d user id which is a part of mqm group.... su mqm is not reqd _________________ Cheers |

My suggestion is to work on mqm user id...
Dont play around more from root user id
