Hello
We are using the JMS implementation from IBM to access MQ from Java applications and for our host applications we wrote a AMI Wrapper for our PL/1 applications to send and receive messages. JMS and AMI where our strategical high level interfacs for shielding the applications from technical MQ Headers etc.
Unfortunately AMI will not be supported from IBM (after 2005) anymore. So we have to look for some alternatives. Does anybody have any suggestion what we could use in our PL/1 applications as high level interfaces which supports a repository for storing Qs and Topics and wrapps the MQ Headers like the AMI?
Thanks for any suggestion
Regards

The AMI users that I work with are moving to JMS. However, most of them are Java AMI users not PL/1. |

Take a look at what features you are using from the AMI and Develop your own API to support just those features. _________________ Jeff
