Perhaps, but I think the FDC is from girlinusa2006 telnet-ing to the MQ port.

Hi ,
check whether ur listener is running or not by issuing the command
ps -ef |grep runmqlsr
if it not running ,give the command,
runmqlsr -m <Qm name> -p <port number> -t tcp &
then
retry the connection and all

I'm not sure I followed all this conversation, but is there more than one qmgr's listener trying to listen on the same port? Also, codeset conversion should not be a problem, unless the qmgr and/or channels are somehow configured wrong....  _________________ IBM Certified MQSeries Specialist
