http://www-01.ibm.com/software/globalization/cp/cp01098.jsp links to a PDF doc that shows the code page spec. Codes below x80 are Latin/English glyphs like ASCII. Farsi glyphs assigned to the codes above x80. So it should be OK to mix English and Farsi in a message. _________________ Glenn
