Two questions for any bright sparks.
1) In DB2 on AIX I want to connect to AS400 how do you go about this? I have catalouged the Node and Database, what else is required?
2) On NT I can get a connection to AS400 using DB2 ODBC drivers but then get error SQL1097N the node name is not found in node directory. Any got any ideas what this means (is it can't find file in directory specified equiv) or what? there does not seem anywhere to qualify the library if this is the case.
Thanks in advance |

Segs. Thanks for the response but I am in the habit of searching for things before just putting things on the forum. If you know of the answer to my questions please guide me to the right place cos I can not see anything that tackles my problem!. forums are supposed to be to help not just quote cliches like read the manual or search the forum. |
