How? You're quoted no contact details and very very of us are psychic. Many of us are psychotic but that's not quite the same.

Everyone does. We had to turn it off for good & sufficient reason.

In these harsh economic times, it would be a shame if your ideal employer couldn't reach you just because we don't like PMs _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

I can understand your point and the thoughts from crawlers on the open web.
It depends on the demand and supply.. I hope things would be better soon. |

Are you also seeking a job in NZ?
Any specific reason you reopened a 4 year old thread rather than make a new one?

Looks like your reply on the other thread is better placed, but Linked in is definitely a good place to start. _________________ Morag Hughson @MoragHughson

The computer Never Forgets
I recently received an email from a Recruitment Agency claiming that they'd seen my profile on LinkedIn and would I be interested in a job. Their information was based upon the details of my last job.
The thing is that I hadn't updated my LinkedIn profile for more than 10 years(goes to show how useful I found it in the past) and more importantly, I'd deleted my profile on LinkedIn almost a year ago.
After some investigation I found that not only did LinkedIn NOT delete my profile but the recurutment Agency got my email address (not the on on my profile) from what someone else had posted in a connection to me.
What I'm saying is that don't rely on a site like LinkedIn for accurate information. I think it has gone downhill a great deal since it changed ownership. Once it was a good place but some of the people who have wanted to connect to me are totally unknown to me and have nothing in common with me, my career or my interests. _________________ WMQ User since 1999
