I am using WBIMB 5.
I did both mqsireload, and a flow start and stop, and could not change the alias queue.
I then did “ alter qa….. FORCE†and the alias queue changed but the flow still had a handle on the queue, even after repeating the above steps.
Further, the flow routed to the previous queue as opposed to the updated queue.
What APAR refers to this bug? |

This is working as designed in WB-IMB 5.0, although I'm surprised that after forcing the change on the q and subsequently mqsireloading the execution group it was still pointing at the old destination.
You're only other option is to redeploy the flow(s) after making the q change. Or bounce the broker. 
This is fixed in WMB 6.0. In that version a stop of the flow actually stops the flow AND releases the queues, where as in WB-IMB 5.0 "stop flow" was more like pause, as all it does is stop the MQGET loop while leaving the queues open (and locked).

Is there documentation on the web for the internal workings of start and stop on flows or exec groups? |
