Hello,


WMQ V6 for Linux, Intel machine with Red hat Linux ES 4. MQ installed yesterday


Trying to execute strmqcfg (/opt/mqm/bin) to open WebSphere MQ Explorer, but a window pops showing:

/opt/mqm/ies30/eclipse/./jre/bin/java

-DMQCHLLIB=

-DMQCHLTAB=

-D”java.library.path=/opt/mqm/java/lib:/opt/mqm/lib”

-os linux

-ws gtk

-arch x86

-showsplash /opt/mqm/ies30/eclipse/./eclipse –showsplash 600

-exitdata /opt/mqm/ies30/eclipse/./eclipse –exitdata d800c

-application com.ibm.mq.explorer.ui.rcp.RcpApplication

-data /root/.mqdata

-vm /opt/mqm/ies30/eclipse/./jre/bin/java

-vmargs

-Xj9

-Xmx512M

-noverify

-DMQCHLLIB=

-DMQCHLTAB=

Same problem using user fernando (mqm group) instead of root.

anything interesing in the log file (found a few level down in ~/.eclipse)?

Wayne, thanks for your help. I've been working with MQ for several years on windows and z/os.

I'm a newbie in Linux. Where is the error log for eclipse? Under eclipse folder I see 2 folders: features and plugins.

I'm totally lost right now. I appreciate very much your help.
