No. A queue can be opened by any number of apps.

Not really. I would not think it is anything to be concerned about. It is the nature of the cluster xmitq for it to be opened by many different apps at the same time.

I think its good style to clean-up after yourself when you're done with your MQ connection. Open connections do use system respources.
