HI,
Please let me know in mainframe how to verify a define command before creating the mq object.
similar to runmqsc -v ( command ) is there a equivalent...

than how would you verify your define or alter commands on MainFrame?
Is there any alternative to this???

Sure but if I use the MO71 runmqsc window will I get a corrected syntax diagram where there is an error or just the error information?
Anyway you can always consult the MQSC manual. It contains the variants for zOS.

You can also use the ISPF panels and not even bother worrying about the syntax  |

You can use the CSQOREXX panels on z/os and do a define like or run the MAKEDEF utility. _________________ WebSphere Application Server 7.0 z/OS &
MQ 6.0. I work with WebSphere in the real world not in some IBM lab. |
