The following WebSphere MQ family SupportPacs have been released:

IC63: Configuring MQSeries Integrator for Sun Solaris with VERITAS Cluster
Server

VERITAS Cluster Server (VCS) is a scalable environment which provides an
integrated cluster framework for control and monitoring business-critical
applications, which can benefit from the fault resilience which clustered
operation provides. VCS runs on a number of popular operating systems, but
this SupportPac is concerned only with the use of Solaris. The contents of
the SupportPac could, with appropriate modification, be used on other
operating systems. All further references to VCS in this document relate to
VCS 1.3, unless noted otherwise.

This SupportPac contains two VCS agents which can be used to control and
monitor brokers and a User Name Server (UNS). These agents can be used to
provide automated failure detection, local restart or failover. The
SupportPac also contains utility commands and information about how to
configure MQSeries Integrator for Solaris with VCS 1.3. The scripts may be
used directly, or can be modified to match a particular customer's
environment.

The shell scripts include functions to:

- Create brokers and a User Name Server (UNS) in a manner suitable for VCS
operation
- Configure standby systems
- Monitor the status of a broker or UNS
- Shutdown and restart a broker or UNS under VCS control

WA71: MQSeries Workflow - COM API

The MQSeries Workflow COM API DLL is a supplementary DLL to MQSeries
Workflow provided as a fee based offering by the Workflow Competency Centre,
Boeblingen. The COM API DLL enables programmers to create MQSeries Workflow
clients based on ASP technology as well as MQSeries Workflow activity
implementations for COM enabled language environments (VB6, VBScript (ASP)).

The offering provided with this SupportPac includes the following.

1. Installation Support and Education

- The program code and basic documentation in English.
- Maintenance support for one year.
- Installation support and COM API education can be given on-site.
- Samples that show how to use the MQSeries Workflow COM API in VBScript
format.
- Sample that implements a simple version of the Web Client for IBM MQSeries
Workflow, based on ASP technology. This sample requires Microsoft Internet
Information Server (IIS) 5.

2. Maintenance support for additional years

- Maintenance support for additional years is available at an additional
fee.

WA72: MQSeries Workflow - ARIS Bridge

The ARIS to MQSeries Workflow Bridge is a supplementary program to the IBM
MQSeries Workflow software provided as a fee based offering by the Workflow
Competency Centre, Boeblingen. It automatically converts the business
process models designed with IDS Scheer ARIS Tool V5.0 into the FDL format
supported by IBM MQSeries Workflow V3.2, or later. The bridge transfers, for
instance, process chains, organizational charts and parts of the data model
and the data flow. The conversion works in one direction, from ARIS Toolset
to MQSeries Workflow.

The offering provided with this SupportPac includes the following.

1. Program code including one year maintenance support and installation
support and education

- The program code and basic documentation.
- Maintenance support for one year.
- Installation, Education and Consultancy support (includes 2 days of
on-site support for installation and education of the ARIS Bridge (travel
expenses included) and a total of 3 days of consultancy phone support from
the Workflow Competency Center for a total of 5 working days of support).

2. Maintenance support for additional years
- Maintenance support for additional years is available at an additional
fee.

3. Customization of mapping rules

- The standard installation of the ARIS Bridge works with a standard set of
mapping rules that control the translation between ARIS and MQSeries
Workflow models. If there are special mapping requirements, you can request
to replace the standard rules by a set of customized rules. This service
consists of a review of customized mapping requirements and a set of
customized rules

WC01: Consulting for advanced MQSeries Workflow configurations

This SupportPac provides details of a service offering from the Workflow
Competency Centre, Boeblingen that offers consulting and implementation of
advance MQSeries Workflow configurations. It includes:

- Deployment of client concentrators
- Deployment of web clients
- Security enhancements
- Multi-tier configurations

WC61: Integration of MQSeries Workflow in high availability environments

This SupportPac provides details of a service offering from the Workflow
Competency Centre, Boeblingen that addresses the installation,
administration and configuration of MQSeries Workflow in high availability
environments. The offering provides:

- Documentation on how to set up a basic high availability environment in:

- A 2-tier setup
- A simple 3-tier setup ( only one Workflow system ) and a set of sample
scripts which can be used to adapt an MQSeries Workflow application for a
high availability environment.

- Design review and consultancy of a customer's planned high availability
workflow environment
- Installation and configuration MQSeries Workflow in high availability
environments on the following platforms:
- AIX: HACMP
- Solaris: Sun Cluster

It will be of use to customers and ISVs who want to install, administer and
configure MQSeries Workflow in a high availability environments but who lack
the required skills and/or resources.

The following WebSphere MQ family SupportPacs have been updated:

IA04: MQSeries Integrator V2 - XML to MRM utility

This SupportPac provides a utility, written in REXX, that is used to create
a C structure or COBOL copybook from an XML structure that can then be
imported into the MRM respository using the MQSeries Integrator (MQSI)
Control Center. The imported definition can then be used within a Database
or Compute node in a MQSI message flow. This allows the drag and drop
capabilities of these nodes to be utilized, thus reducing the time to
complete the ESQL coding. The following changes have been made in this
release:

- Additional support for XML Attributes and comments added.
- Generated structures now have field length set to 1 to avoid duplicate
fields.
- The sample solution has been extended and is now available as part of the
SupportPac.

MO12: MQSeries for OS/390 - Log extract program

This SupportPac allows data to be extracted from the MQSeries for OS/390
V5.2 log data sets in format that will allow further processing, such as
message replay, and also displays information about objects which have been
defined or altered. It has been updated to fix problems in the message
replay C program
