I seem to wake up each morning pondering iteration vs. looping. Which is it?

Do you just want to keep doing it again, or go back to the beginning?

Neither, actually.

Is this a programming question, or more of an existential covid-19 haze that we all seem to be experiencing question?

Which was it? Iteration or looping?

An iteration uses information from the previous repetition.
Looping doesn't really have any semantic constraints.
Does Enumeration bother you?

Most of life is a loop. The concerning thing is when you go to sleep and dream of falling asleep. Then you are in recursion which is much more difficult to get out of

That reminds me of asking Siri "What is Inception about?"

Not until you mentioned it.

When I asked, 148 minutes.

I can do no better than repeat the comments of a wise man:

Quote:
most people think of time as a series of discrete events moving from cause to effect from the past to the future. In fact, from a non-subjective, non-dimensional perspective, it's all just a big ball of wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey

So it is, in fact, an enumerated iteration and an enumerated loop, both within a non-linear construct forming a flexible boundary that acts both as a reference point for your consciousness ("morning") while adding a pseudo-real structure to that consciousness's journey through existence.

Unless I've misunderstood and we are, as my most worthy associate points out, trapped in a Bill Murray movie.

Who had "giant Stay-Puffed Marshmallow Man" for October?
