Grail Software Solutions are pleased to announce GSS API Player Starter Edition, Version 1.0.0

This is an Eclipseâ„¢ RCP application designed to help educate end-users on IBMÂ® Messaging APIs. An example of an end-user could be a developer or tester of an MQ application.

GSS API Player allows real-time testing of various calls of the Message Queue Interface (MQI).

GSS API Player can be used to:
- Connect to a local or remote queue manager
- Test various MQI calls
- View the results of a call
- Load results to play again within the same session
- A sequence of calls can be saved, reloaded and replayed in a new session
- Manage sequence files
- Calls can be exported into snippet source files in various languages
- Set user preferences for formatting, colours, snippets and validation

GSS API Player Starter Edition, Version 1.0.0 has the following enhancements over the Beta version 0.0.2:

- The MQCONNX call has been enabled to allow client connections
- Editing the parameters for MQINQ and MQSET has been improved
- More parameters and fields have been enabled
- A new command called StartGssApiPlayerClient.cmd is provided for starting the GSS API Player
