Hi there,
You may or may not have heard that I'm leaving IBM on the 2nd April (today). I've been in IBM for over 18 years, all of that time spent in MQSeries / WebSphere MQ / IBM MQ areas (service and development).
For my next trick
Life after IBM for me will involve writing MQ Education courses. I've always enjoyed the presentation / conference / teaching part of my job in IBM, and I plan to do a lot more of that. Keep your eyes peeled for these courses when they become available.
I expect to still be on here answering questions, and plan to continue blogging on https://mqgem.wordpress.com/ so pop over for a look sometime.
I'm still an MQer even though I'll soon (in a few hours) no longer be an IBMer!
Cheers

I thought your MQTC v2.0.1.4 sessions were all very good in material and delivery. You are a natural teacher, if you didn't receive that training. I have a bachelors in education, and saw a lot of the teaching skills that they tried to teach me _________________ Working with MQ since 2010. |

I'm 2 years out of IBM, after 14 years within. Its been really good to look in from the outside, instead of inside looking out. Best of luck for the future! _________________ Glenn |

Dear Morag-
Well back in 1994 I was hit by the SE elimination process... Yes very scary after 18 years!
After getting over the shock of it all I realized a large monkey was off my shoulders...
In the city I was was in jobs were scarce so I headed down south and found a company that needed all my skills I developed in IBM. So no foul to the great brains that killed off those field jobs.
So you will have a ball doing what you enjoy without the Blue Monkey!
Congratulations you and you knowledge will be missed! |

Hopefully not missed too much, since I fully intend to be around the MQ ecosystem for a while yet _________________ Morag Hughson @MoragHughson
