It depends on:

1. Number of applications using QREMOTE definitions that resolve to the XMITQ;

2. The number of messages each of the above is putting (undoubtedly different for each application);

To answer this question I think we need a little context. A transmission queue is little different from any other local queue so you can put and get to them at same speed as
any other local queue. This, naturally, will depend on your CPU speed and attributes of the message such as size and persistence.

Of course putting to a transmission queue is only half of the story. To be usable speed then the MCA must be capable of removing and transmitting the messages to the remote system. This will depend on other factors such as network card, network bandwidth and latency.

What prompts you to ask the question ?
