What are the various applications of Data-mining concepts that can be used for effective IBM Middle-ware?

The best approach would it be to use the IIB as a basic ETL, in this case the idea would it to have a lot of sources of information and then use the IIB to extract the information from those different sources and finally storage the important information in a specific dataware house. Obviously you should have to move little information as in other case the process would be very slow (even if you split the messages). In this case you would need a product such as infosphere so as to process the information got from the IIB.

You can use as well the events generators in the IIB in order to know how many times a web service or a legacy service is called, then you can use business monitor and process that information, knowing this, you can calculate which services are more important and what is more, you could calculate what events affect your business when different web services work under different conditions (peak hours, less memory, holiday session, etc), what this means is that the generated information from those events could serve you to decide your new strategies either for new developments so as business.
