Hi All,

I have a question regarding a setup where AS2 is the front side handler and the backend is a MQ Queue.

My issue is that when there is a failure on the backend ( MQ) the AS2 customer will get back an error.

I would like to have two seperate transactions, if the AS2 communication went fine it shouldn't matter for the AS2 side that the MQ backend gives troubles.
MQ backend troubles or maintenance are not the issue of the customer. One can monitor and resubmit the messages from datapower.

Problem is that if I try to trap MQ errors in a policy my transaction viewer will not give an error anymore and I can not use the Resend option in datapower.

Goal :
1Â° Customer gets success if AS2 communication went fine even if there are backend troubles
2Â° Have failures visible in the transaction viewer with the resend option still available.

I'm a new so probably I'm missing somthing obvious.
