I have a file transfer request that is triggered by a resource monitor. At the end of the transfer, I would like to invoke a shell script at source, and another script at destination.
I looked through the documentation, and that the user exit can only be implemented using the JAVA interface. Is there a way to call shell script directly without touching Java programming?
I saw there is another way of calling post processing task using Ant task, but that is only applicable for FileCopy / FileMove task correct? This approach won't work for file transfer triggered by resource monitor?
You can configure your Monitor to kick off an ant script rather than a direct transfer. This will allow you to kick off an ant script that does the fileMove/fileCopy, and then invoke the shell script at the destination.
You will need to do this on the command line rather than through the GUI
