Hi all,
I am learning WAS and WPS, so the terms or concept may be wrong. However, I am in serious need of your expert knowledge and help on WPS configuration. javascript:emoticon(' ')
Currently, only 1 application server 'server1' was created on a WPS profile which is on WAS ND. Since no deployment manager profile was created, there is no 'New' button on the admin console to create additional application server.
Questions:
1. Can I create more than 1 application server e.g. server2, server3 and etc, on a single WPS profile? I was told that 1 WPS profile can create 1 application server only. Each additional WPS profile requires a set of 6 database, so it is not a preferred option unless it is the last resort. We are going to require 6 application servers, i.e. server1 to server6.
2. If the above answer is 'yes' that we can have more than 1 app. server within a single WPS profile, do we need extra databases for each application server?
