I'm trying to connect to my MQSeries server on a RedHat Linux 7.1 box as a client on the same machine. I get a 'Queue manager not available for connection.', and in the mqm error logs, I get errors like this:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
11/12/01 10:02:21
AMQ9208: Error on receive from host localhost (127.0.0.1).
EXPLANATION:
An error occurred receiving data from localhost (127.0.0.1) over TCP/IP. This
may be due to a communications failure.
ACTION:
The return code from the TCP/IP (read) call was 104 (X'68'). Record these
values and tell the systems administrator.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
104 is ECONNRESET 'Connection reset by peer'. I don't always get the ECONNRESET error in the logs, but I always get a MQRC_Q_MGR_NOT_AVAILABLE. I've ran out of ideas on this. The problem seems to occur no matter what machine/OS I try connecting from. Anyone hava any ideas, or have seen this?
