Hi everyone,
I have a business process which consists of the following activities , send something , receive something , notify . In the first two activities i would like to write the data to the container but also update my database with that data. I have faced these problems:
1)To update my database i have to create a new activity which reads the input container and then updates the database. Is there a way the jsp code of that activity to be executed automatically (without human intervention).I have set in build time start automatic , staff=all people, but that doesn't work
2)In the first activity i have a select list in the form whose data i am writing to the output container. The value of the selected item , though is not written to the container.Can that be done?

It is hard to answer these questions with the very little info you provide about the process. Here are my best guesses.
1. It sounds to me like what you should do is have a UPES activity that follows the human activity and does the update.
2. It can definitely be done. Maybe what you need to do is to set a hidden variable to the value that is set from the list box.
