I feel like an idiot for asking this but it doesn't seem to me that the iFix013 has ""taken" on my toolkit.

I am running on an XP machine.

When I look in RUP it shows the iFix 013 has been installed for the toolkit.

When I check the About box in the toolkit this is the version information it displays:

WebSphere Message Brokers Toolkit - Message Broker

Version: 6.0.2
Build id: 20061201_1308

Of course I didn't check this value before I installed the fix pack so I can't tell if it is different. The build id does seem to be old based on fix pack released in March of this year.

I did start the toolkit with -clean and nothing changed.

But it doesn't seem to me that the fix pack has taken affect because I am still seeing warnings on Passthru statements in some ESQL we have.

I thought these warnings would go away based on this line in the fix pack documentation:

APAR IZ16097 ESQL editor throws error for PASSTHRU function without Database clause

Since I am still seeing these warnings I am wondering if the fix pack wasn't installed correctly.

I also cleaned the project and also deleted it from the toolkit and re-imported it again and still see the Passthru warnings.

Don't know the exact answers to your question, but did you reboot your machine after the upgrade, since its Windows?

Yeah, I've rebooted.

I'm wondering since it's an interim fix if it doesn't update the version shown in the About box.

What do others who have applied the iFix013 update have in their About box?

Not the About box, but maybe you can see this in the PlugIn/Features lists.

**Update** Yep, you can see version 6.0.2.xxx where xxx looks like the iFix numbers.

Cheers,

Ok, I've gone through the Plugin and Features lists and I could only find one item with a version of 6.0.2.010 or higher and it was Message Brokers Broker Archive Generator.

There were no items that had versions above 6.0.2.010 and I would expect some since I installed the iFix 013.

You'll see the version and Ifix in RUP (rational updater) before you go to find new updates...

Enjoy
