Hello:
1. Can any one share their expereince with certification of WPS?
2. Which test to take. I have gone through the IBM site I am bit confused than educated. On the road maps I find only one certification 093 ( more related to administration). After further search I found another test 667 which qualifies for IBM certified SOA admin.
3. Also please share on how to prepare? what manuals to read.

I did not find much links on the mqseries.net either. May be it is too early to look for. Please let me know

Thanks.
Has anyone taken these tests? It appears all these test need requisites.

Yes.

Process Server is built on top of Application Server.

If you don't know Application Server, you can't manage Process Server.

If you want to develop rather than Administer, then you need to look for certifications for WID and SOA development.

Ucbus:

Since I am sure I remember you from the MQWF forum, perhaps what you are looking for is the equivalent to the MQWF certifications.

As far as I can see there is no certification that tests only the knowledge of "process" in WPS. In fact, when I look at the current content of the WPS Certification tests I would say that no more than 20% is relevant to the "process" features of WPS (i.e Building and Running BPEL, which in my opinion would be the logical equivalent of the MQWF certifications)

Thanks JMac

That is exactly what I am looking for. But since I have to re-tool myself with WPS anyway, I am planning to go with test "093" for the starters.

Thanks jeflowerry

Some or most of the business process content may also be in Modeller certifications, rather than WID or WPS.

Jeff:

Just my opinion, but I do not think there is any certification that is equivalent to the WMQWF certifications.

Agreed, that there is process content in Modeler certifications, but it is not the same as we had before.

IF you had the WMQWF certification I could be pretty sure that you understood how to do process in WMQWF. Again, just my opinion, but there is currently no certification that IBM offers for WID/WPS/Modeler, that tests that same ability.

Regards

John - I agree that there isn't a single certification that is an equivalent.

There may be a combination of certificates that is equivalent.
