You may notice that I have started to mark some topics as solved by prepending [Solved] to the original message. Sometimes this involves truncating a portion of the message, but I will try not to truncate any key words.
My expertise is limited, as is my time... So if you happen to notice an item (old or newer) that you feel has a complete solution if you just send me a Private message and include a link to the message I will mark it as solved. Unless of course I disagree
NOTE: Any user can mark their own posts solved by using the Edit button.
Also, it would be extremely helpful if you do receive an answer that satisfies your question from our forum, or from any other source, that you indicate that either via a personal message to me, or by posting to the topic, so that the topic can be marked.

I would just like to point out that the same can be done for topics posted in any of the other forums. Feel free to PM me if you see a topic which looks "Solved" and I can mark it as such. _________________ Brandon Duncan

Shaker,
You should be able to do that already. Users have the ability to edit their own posts. The problem is, most people don't - so it usually ends up being the moderators' responsibility. Let me know if you aren't able to edit your own posts though... _________________ Brandon Duncan
