Better is a relative term.

i.e. Would you rather be poked in the eye or kicked in the leg.

How about neither. I want SubSilver.

I second the 'latest posts' requirement....It's tough to go back to main page and click 'View latest posts after last visit'(or something like that) all the time....

Regards.

Shows what I know - I've been using that option from the main page from day 1!!

The white background scheme is also growing on me.

I have a request for a change to DAJ_Glass. The "breadcrumbs" at the top and bottom of each page include the current topic after the forum name. For instance, at the bottom of this page I see:

Code:
MQSeries.net Forum Index » General Discussion » Somebody has had the decorators in I see

The previous format, as well as the new zeroSpace, stops at the forum name, that is:
Code:
MQSeries.net Forum Index » General Discussion

To me that makes much more sense and it's easier to backtrack without having to find the forum name buried in the middle. Would it be possible to modify DAJ_Glass to stop short of naming the current topic in the current topic's breadcrumb display?

The new design looks good on a Mac using the Safari browser.

I am also experiencing a lot of "hanging" sessions in Internet Explorer, which it looks like caused by the "logo and menu" on top...

I am typing this now using Mozilla Firefox...

is it just me experiencing this behaviour with IE and MQSeries.net ???

Not sure what the "logo and menu" active contol thing adds to the browsing experience (though I do still think it's cool we have a logo!) but doesn't cause me problems.

WinXP, IE7, patched to date, reasonably powerful laptop, 2Gb RAM

Cool buttons and such at the top; but with display/settings set to BIG (800x600) they occupy about more than 1/2 of the Window.

White font on blue background, while cool-looking, is more difficult to read. This is why letters, newspapers, magazines, and most other stuff, remains black font on white/light background.

10 points for cool. Only 4 points for usability. Sorry.

Bruce, you know you can change your background back to white? Right?
Maybe not for the MMtype navigation bar at the top, but for general display...
Check out your profile, there is some choice there...
